Fable - Television

You always hear parents telling not to sit to close to the television. They tell you this so your eye vision doesn’t get bad when you get older. Nathan never listened to his mom when she would tell him to move back. Nathan would just say “Okay, right now mom”, but every time his mom came back Nathan was either in the same place or if not he would be closer to the T.V. No one in their family had worn glasses, but Nathan’s mom had taken him to the doctor for a check on his eye sight. They prescribed him glasses and the doctor had told him it was because he sits to close to the T.V. Nathan was sad and embarrassed because he did not want to get picked on for wearing glasses. Before he left, the doctor had asked him, “Did your mother ever tell you not to sit so close to the T.V.?” Nathan put his head down and nodded. “Next time you should listen to your mother”, said the doctor.
